BalTec introduces its new full range of orbital riveting machines and units, engineered to deliver precision and versatility across a force spectrum of 1.5 to 35 kN. Its modular design allows seamless integration into existing production environments.
Radial Riveting
The forming tool follows a roset-shaped motion. The material is effectively formed in three directions: Radially outwards, radially inwards and overlaying also tangentially (circular).
Orbital Riveting
Orbital riveting is a circular motion. The peen rotates.
The deformation is effected around the riveting head – from two sides.
Roller Forming
The forming is achieved by profile rollers.
The profile rollers are mounted on a rotating spindle and roll on the formable part.
Impact Pressing
During pressing, the rivet is pressed into the desired shape by applying a vertical force with a non-moving tool. This requires a lot of force and the rivet is actually squeezed.
