Rivet Base Detection
The NHE detects the rivet projection (U), serves as a hold-down device and helps to reliably detect components before forming eliminating tolerance stack up issues or missing components. The NHE combined with the HPP-25 (necessary for most riveting modes) makes it possible to form relative to the workpiece height in order to compensate for larger component variations. Control criteria such as final head height (H), rivet time (T) or formed rivet shank height (S) can be defined with varying work piece height. Additionally, the NHE allows process monitoring of many different criteria.
As result of the HPP-25 monitoring capability, inspection of components pre or post forming can be eliminated. Additional inspection stations can be eliminated and production cost can be reduced. Subject to technical changes.
NHE-H
FOR RIVET HEAD HEIGHT CONTROL
Rivet base detection device NHE-H with path sensor is appropriate for rivet head height (H) control and allows forming of exact rivet height within a small tolerance.
NHE-U
FOR PROJECTION MEASURING WITH MYCOM SWITCH
NHE-U with HPP-25 and autocompensation allows a formed head height, relative to the rivet protrusion. The NHE-U is not compatible with third party control systems.
NHE-E
WITH MYCOM SWITCH AND SPINDLE
Rivet base detection device with integrated Mycom switch and micro adjustable trigger point. This device is compatible with other control systems.
NHE-COM
WITH MYCOM SWITH AND PATH SENSOR
The rivet base detection device NHE Combi is a combination of NHE-H and NHE-U used to produce precise formed rivet head height ,H' at different component heights, despite deflection of the machine column.
