GRAND OPENING IN MEXICO
BalTec, a leader in riveting and joining technology, upholds its commitment to exceptional customer service by establishing a new branch in Mexico.
This expansion is a testament to our dedication and credo of customer proximity, ensuring the highest quality of local support in consulting, sales, and service.
The new branch in Monterrey, Mexico, in the state of Nuevo León, is geographically and strategically well embedded in the productive north of Mexico.
Initially, the Mexican region was managed by BalTec Corporation, USA. In 2018, César Chavez joined the BalTec team, managing operations in Mexico and reporting directly to BalTec Corporation. The official inauguration of the new subsidiary marks a significant step forward in establishing a stronger presence in the region. This context highlights the transition from managing operations remotely to having a dedicated, official subsidiary in Mexico, emphasizing the importance of local representation and the strategic move to strengthen the company’s presence in the region.
It will now be operating under the name “BalTec Máquinas S. de R.L. de C.V.” and will initially focus on enhancing sales and customer service, launching a compact technology center, which is intended to be expanded over time. This strategic move allows both existing and potential clients to experience BalTec machines firsthand, facilitating direct application testing.
Mr. César Chavez, a seasoned expert in the cold forming industry, oversees the branch. His extensive experience spans over several years, during which he has catered to the Mexican market’s unique needs. Chavez’s expertise extends to radial, orbital, and tangential riveting, as well as roller-forming, aligning perfectly with the demands of the Mexican metalworking industry. BalTec Mexico will report to BalTec North America.
Mr. Anthony Gianettino, President of BalTec North America, expresses enthusiasm about the group’s expansion into Latin America. He highlights Mexico’s robust business environment, burgeoning economy, and skilled workforce as key attractions. Gianettino is confident that the new office will significantly contribute to the group’s success.
