Our customer had to replace a former machine and was looking for a replacement. The new machine would have to perform a riveted joint on a variety of roller assemblies.

Door Hinge Pin
Hinge assembly for automotive door. The goal was to form long rivet (hinge pin) without bending the shaft.

Due to former inconsistent riveting, we were approached to improve the process to secure a special roller to a bracket.

The component had a change in design. The new design of the seat stay needed an axle to pass through the bracket in place of the previous roll pin design.
